As with almost all games involving Mario, Sparks of Hope’s background story wears off pretty quickly. We played Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope extensively for our test and found out where the title delivers – and where it still has some catching up to do. The first Kingdom Battle already received a lot of praise in 2017 with its exciting turn-based strategy battles and the humorous presentation, the successor is now a whole lot more ambitious.
